Carrie Walker is the data programmer for the Health Data Analytics Program in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research at Georgetown, where she focuses on SAS and other analytic programming in support of the ATra Black Box projects. Prior to joining Georgetown, Carrie worked as an analyst contracted with CDC analyzing healthcare associated infections. She also held multiple lead epidemiologist, analyst, and data scientist positions at the Virginia Department of Health related to informatics, outbreak investigation, HIV surveillance and genomic cluster analysis, and HIV care services analysis. Carrie received her Masters in Public Health with a concentration in infectious disease from Virginia Tech.
